With us since our founding, Tony Wood is one of our veteran volunteers. He brings hard work and commitment to the team, working tirelessly to keep the garden tidy, safe and organised. He has a can-do attitude and loves to see the garden being used by lots of different groups. Tony’s commitment means the garden can open 7 days a week, ensuring we are accessible for residents and the general public.
Brian pops in several times a week and can often be seen repairing a lawnmower, fixing various tools or sharpening blades. His engineering background gives him a keen eye for how we can keep tools and buildings well maintained. Brian also brings his Metal Detector with him and has found several interesting objects on site such as Victorian buttons and buckles, alongside many screws, hinges, nails and such like.
Robbie & Barbara
Robbie & Barbara bring lots of enthusiasm to the garden and spend there time here looking after the many flowering plant displays and keep an eye on the 'secret garden'. Barbara has lots of plant knowledge and always offers sound advice and ideas to the team whenever she visits.
